1a. LAMPSHADE SKIRT PLEAT TYPE
All Cielle Home lampshade skirts diffuse lights softly, casting a warm ambiance throughout any room. Available exclusively in the box-pleat style, choose between the classic box-pleat for a refined look or the relaxed box-pleat for a more casual vibe. Refer to the illustrations below for guidance
CLASSIC BOX-PLEAT
Classic box-pleat features perfectly pressed pleats, lending an air of refinement and sophistication. This is a versatile choice to add a modern classic touch to any space.
RELAXED BOX-PLEAT
The relaxed box-pleat showcases softly pressed pleats that create a gentle, ruffled edge. While maintaining a structured appearance, it introduces a laid-back vibe to the space.
1b. LAMPSHADE SKIRT SIZE
We currently offer four sizes, ranging from small candle lights to statement-making pieces. If you already have an existing shade for your lamp, selecting the closest size we offer would be ideal. Otherwise, refer to the guide below to find your perfect fit.
X-Small 4x6x5.5"slant
The perfect fit for most wall sconces, ideal for placement by mirrors, on chandeliers. It also looks cute on tiny table lamps in small spaces.
Small 6x12x9"slant
Our most popular size for small side tables, desks, or narrow console tables in compact spaces. It also looks good on certain floor lamps.
Medium 7x14x10"slant
Ideal size for side tables in bedrooms, living rooms, and more. It also complements certain floor lamps beautifully.
Large 8x16x11.5"slant
Tailored for larger or open spaces, like main side tables in the living room, sitting room, and entry hall. It's also a standout choice for floor lamps.
2. ABOUT BASE SHADE
2a. WHAT IS A BASE SHADE?
Just as its name suggests, a base shade is a simple white or translucent lampshade that acts as the foundation for our lampshade skirt. Think of it as the equivalent of a down insert for a pillow cover. Our base shade is available in two types of fitters - flame clip or washer top, depending on the size. Check out the illustrations below for reference.
WITH FLAME CLIP
Available for our lampshade skirt size 4x6x5.5" only. Clip onto your favorite wall scones with ease.
WITH WASHER TOP
Available for our lampshade skirt sizes 6x12x9" and above, the washer top is compatible with lamps featuring a harp. Ensure your lamp has a harp or is adaptable to one.
2b. DO I NEED A BASE SHADE?
Most likely yes! If this is your first time ordering a lampshade from us, you'll need a base shade. Our lampshade skirts are crafted to snugly fit their corresponding base shades, ensuring they stay securely in place. However, if you've previously ordered a full set from us and simply want to switch up the look, purchasing a lampshade skirt in the same size without the base shade will do the trick.
